*GLOW-A-THON*



*A Walk-A-Thon to benefit Envisioning Youth Empowerment Retreat and The
Wake Young Women’s Leadership Academy*



When: Friday, April 8, 2016; 6:30 pm-9:00 pm



Where: The Governor Morehead School Campus 303 Ashe Avenue in Raleigh



Cost: $10.00 You will receive entry into the event, a race bib with your
name, and 2 glow bracelets (additional glow sticks can be purchased for
$1.00)



Details:

·       Dress in all black so you’ll “glow” as you walk.

·       Bring your friends and family; this is a community event!

·       Food available for purchase

·       7:00 pm Participants Check-In / Registration

·       Arrive at GMS campus using the entrance off of Western Blvd.

·       7:30 pm - Participants begin walking the center loop of campus

·       9:00 pm - Walkers turn in their race bibs to volunteers

·       For each lap walked, a mark will be placed on your race bib. The
grade that has walked the most laps will be rewarded with a pizza party.
The laps your friends and family walk will also be counted towards your
grade’s total.
