Dear fellow Federationists,

We would like to invite you all to a non-partisan, informational briefing on Capitol Hill on Wednesday, Nov. 18 at noon. We will be hearing from four panelists, including Gabe Cazares from the NFB National Center, about people with disabilities in the science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and healthcare workforce. As you know, the disparity between disabled and non-disabled people in the workforce is large and difficult to overcome. This briefing will look at possible ways forward in addressing this important issue. Since this topic is likely not on the radar of many Congressional staff, this is also an excellent opportunity to make connections. So please RSVP and show that we can #LiveTheLifeWeWant.

Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness is not what holds you back.
