2017 Washington Braille Challenge

The Washington Council of the Blind and The Washington Talking Book & Braille Library will be hosting the 2017 regional Braille Challenge.

Students enrolled in grades 1-12 can participate in this academic competition that encourages Braille literacy in a fun and competitive atmosphere. Students are tested according to grade level Braille standards in reading comprehension, Braille speed and accuracy, proofreading, spelling, and reading tactile charts and graphs.

Additional activities for all ages will be provided throughout the day; families are encouraged to attend. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
