[Njagdu] Snowshoeing

Hi Tracy,

That depends where we go. I like to go up the logging road to the waterfall and the snow mobiles pack that down pretty weel, making it a great ski trail and a nice mile and a half run down. They love doing the deep snow, if you don't do it for too long. I also take her long leash and let her play in the snow. Some folks let their dogs off leash there, during non-skiing time, but I am too afraid to do that. It's really great fun.

  Hi Sue.
That sounds like fun! I'll try to remember for next year.
Don't the dogs get stuck in the snow, if you take your dog with you
snowshoeing? Ben doesn't mind stomping through the snow, so long as it's
not too deep. But, with all we have now, he keeps to the shovelled spots.
Except when he's gotta do a #2. Somehow, it's much more fun to do that
on top of a big pile of snow. Dogs!
  Tracy
