Thanks Tracy, this does sound quite easy
wonder if they freeze well.

Subject: [Njagdu] Dog treat recipe - pumpkin and oatmeal

I got this recipe from Rodale’s Organic Life. I haven’t tried it, but it
looks reasonably healthy, and like something my dog would enjoy. Pumpkin is
full of fiber, good for either constipation or diarrhea. My guy doesn’t
have either at the moment, but these ingredients are certainly better than
what’s in store-bought treats. Anyway, here it is:

1 cup pumpkin puree (not pie filling)

¼ cup peanutbutter

2-1/2 cups rolled oats

¼ cup water.

Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Form into 1-inch balls and roll
through additional oats. Place on rimmed sheet and put in fridge until
firm, about an hour.

Couldn’t get much simpler than that.

Tracy
