Hi all, 

Here is information about how to get some insight into the NFB's national
scholarship program.  I would encourage you to apply, and those in the
division who have experienced the program can tell you it's a fabulous
opportunity.  

The student division has a three year streak of scholarship winners (Aleeha
in 2011, Emily in 2012, and myself in 2013), and we hope to keep this
tradition of scholarship and growth in the NFB going.  

Applications are now open and will remain so through March 31st.  Please
check out the podcast and apply at nfb.org/scholarships.  That goes for us
potential Tenbroke Fellows as well.

On Wednesday, November 20, at 8:00 pm eastern, Thru Our eyes host, Joe
Ruffalo will interview Patti Chang, Chair of the National Federation of the
Blind National Scholarship Program for 2014.
Discussion will highlight the purposes, goals and objectives of applying for
a national scholarship that will be awarded at the national convention in
Orlando, Florida in early July.
We will hear from past national scholarship winners that will provide the
importance to get involved to make a difference!
