[Oabs] What are we doing at Convention

Hi Everyone

 

Upon waking up from a dream where I was trying to convince several people
that OABS should post an apples to apples tournament at convention, I began
wondering what are we going to be doing?

 

I'm pretty sure  that several student devisions sell stuff at convention. I
know that Ohio will not have a table, but I feel like I saw in an email last
year that you didn't necessarily have to have a table to sell stuff. 

Are we going to try to have the bookmarks ready by then?

I think this could be good because it not only gets us funds, but we have a
big market that week and it puts our name out there sort of on a national
level. 

This may not be an option for us, but thought it was worth throwing out
there. 

 

Also, another idea I had is having a call to talk about convention. Maybe
having someone speak who's been to a number of conventions or having a panel
of sorts. We could also talk about things on the agenda and ask questions,
and get recommendations for what to go to. 

Also, is the big agenda out yet? 

 

I was just throwing these ideas out there. I am planning on convention and
this will be my first one and I'm really excited.
