[Oabs] What are we doing at Convention

Hi Lillie,

It really depends on the number of people we have going to convention.
When I sold candy with the affiliate last year, we had about 10 to 15
of us actively selling, (and a lot of my sales came from sitting with
other affiliates and people wanting a little sugar rush durring
general session). If we're going to sell and be profitable, we need
to have at least a handful of people going.

I know you and Emily are planning to go, and I am tentatively making
plans as well. I would like to know if anyone else is going so that
no one or two people have to sell all the time. It would be good if
we can do this, but you're supposed to be able to learn from
convention too. I'd hope that people who went could sell when they
could. but still count on others to pitch in as well. I don't think 3
people would really be enough to accomplish this, especially since
unless someone wins a scholarship, we'll likely only be outside our
own affiliate at rare points in time, or in division meetings. Last
year I tried just standing in the hallway and shouting, but there are
so many other callers for rooms and other sales that it's easy to not
be heard.
This being said, this is only if we can get the bookmarks designed and
mass produced by the time convention roles around. Emily, do you
think about 2 and a half months is enough time for this to happen?
