[Oabs] quite disappointed

Hello All,
     For those who are not on the membership committee, I apologize
for the bluntness of this email. However, I feel it is necessary for
the division to know the current state of affairs.
I called the regularly scheduled meeting of the membership committee
for its normal time, 7:30 PM, this evening. For the fourth time in the
past six meetings, I was met with only one other caller. This is
highly disappointing to me. As the membership committee, we have the
responsibility to maintain this division, which includes building it
and keeping a healthy, thriving core group of students. As such, I
strongly urge each member of this committee to reconsider where your
priorities lie. I understand that everyone is busy, but here's the
thing. This student division is the future of the nFB of Ohio. Without
it, this affiliate will be hurting for new leaders in the future. As
people who care about the hard work that Eric, Richard, Shelbi, and
all the other board members put into this organization, we ought to be
striving to do our best to make the future of the NFB of Ohio as
bright as possible. I sincerely hope that I see members of this
committee present on the next call, which will be held Friday, January
9, at 7:30 PM. Make it a point to build this organization, one student
at a time.
