Hi, OABSters.

I, too, am having my finals this week, and even though I'm pretty solid
grade-wise, it's been one of the roughest semesters I've experienced so far
on a personal front. Needless to say, I can't wait until exams - and the
GMAT I'll be taking on Saturday - are done.

I want to echo what Aleeha said about the lack of attendance at the
membership meeting. We had no one - literally no one - at the fund-raising
meeting in November. I take partial responsibility for that; I honestly
wasn't sure if we were meeting that week in the first place, what with it
being Thanksgiving and all, so I sentthe the reminder out that day - which
is late. Still, I can recall several times where reminder e-mails were sent
out even later last year and many people showed up. Please, if you're not
going to make it, just shoot me a text or an e-mail letting me know. Life
happens, especially during holiday break; I'm the first to agree with that.

Anyway, I'm not writing because of last month's meeting; I'm writing because
of this month's meeting, which is supposed to be on Friday, December 26. As
I said in last month's reminder e-mail, I'm concerned about meeting so close
to Christmas; it's the day after, and I'm pretty sure no one wants to go to
a meeting the day after Christmas. As I asked in November, please let me
know how you feel about meeting that day. If the majority of people are fine
with it, we'll keep the meeting as is. If not,  we can schedule a different
time - perhaps some time the following week, since we'll all be on break.

Please let me know your preference by Saturday, December 20, at 11:59 PM,
after which time I will let you know the verdict. In the meantime, good luck
on finals, and stay warm.
