[Ag-eq] my chickens

Susan:

How hot is it getting there?

The girls have plenty of shade and water and I sprinkle the ground in their
run sometimes, which they seem to like. They also like taking dust baths.
They have been eating their chicken feed and vegetable scraps. I've been
letting them run around the yard about half an hour before they roost. As
soon as it's dark they go to their coop and roost for the night.

They seem to be pretty active first thing in the morning and before bed.
During the heat of the day they're hanging out under the coop, where it is
cooler.

I'll be sure to let you know as soon as I get eggs!

Nella
