Susan:

Homer sounds like quite a character! My wether goat spends most of his time
with my old john mule.  Necco the goat, loves to rub all over Jack, the mule;
Jack seems to think he's getting a massage.

I think you're going to love having goats; they have so much personality and are
so useful. This weekend I've made cheese, yogurt and ice cream. I have to do
something with all this milk!

Did you ever get any more chickens?

I want to find 3 more, but don't want tiny chicks. The baby chicks make me
nervous; they are so tiney. I'm afraid I would do something wrong and they
would die. The youngest ones I've ever got were 8 weeks old. Do you start
with the baby chicks?

I got 4 ripe tomatos this weekend, 2 cherries and 2 larger ones. My plants are
loaded with green and ripening tomatos. I hope to be able to make and can some
pasta sauce.

Do you can fruits and vegetables, if so do you have any good tips?

Take care.

Nella
