Hi Susan,

Yes, I love adding wrinkles to my brain too and if you don't use it, you
lose it.

Wow, your husband sounds exactly like mine!  Tom is an avid reader of
everything.  

Recently we have been political junkies listening to over 8 hours a day of
talk radio.  We are totally burned out and now I won't even listen to the
news which gives me lots of time to do things like reading farm books and
working outside.

The weather here is fantastic now and I feel like a little kid wanting to be
outside all the time.  I planted some spinach and the beans are coming up.  

I think I mentioned that I trained my own guide dog Walker.  We have been
walking every day working on his skills.  We have walked a little farther
each day exploring the neighborhood.  I just love the sounds and the smells
around here.  There is almost no traffic to worry about too.

We home schooled our daughter and she will say all you need to learn is a
book and a brain.  I guess I am a homeschooled farmer now.  They should have
an FFA for adults.

That reminds me, I called our local Cooperative Extension and I me t some
really nice people who are very willing to answer my endless questions too.
