Though myself not an international student, I love to see cultures 
that thrive independently of an American tendancy to dominate world 
culture.  You don't need to buy into something because it seems to be 
popular or approved of by American culture!  you don't need to have 
an American name and persona the Hong  Kong persona is beautiful!

How is your eyesight? If you have any questions about conditions 
here, particularly those whose answers are not readily answered in
