Hi Diane,

I managed to get the state to buy me one. I was evaluated by a physical 
therapist, who was very impressed, and after about a month of repeatedly 
showing her that I could do it, she ordered the chair. I think it would help 
even more if a mobility instructor was also present at the PT appointments 
if you are able to set this up. Of course, it may be very different in 
Florida than it is in Rhode Island. I did it though, and so it can be done.
