[blindkid] Bullying the blind

We have had bullying, to the point of getting the police involved. My daughter knows she is to walk away and find an adult and report it immediately. In the past it was an adult so I gave her permission to leave the classroom, just say I need to go to the office it's an emergency. By the law the school has to do something, in our case they didn't so the police became involved. The school she's in now she has reported it twice and both times it was dealt with, zero tolerance. I told my daughter the bullies are hurting on the inside looking for someone to take their pain out on and she was an easy target and she learned really quick to stand up for herself. She also enrolled in a Tae -kwon - do class and they taught her how to defend herself with her cane if need be.  Report it, talk about it, and teach them to stand up and be heard.
