[blindLaw] Reccomendations for Braille display for use with LeNovo laptop

Hi,

I have been using a Focus 40 Blue 5th Generation for about three years. It works well with my Lenovo laptop and my iPad. It has a braille keyboard, not qwerty, an SD card for storing notes and books in BRF format, accessed through the onboard Scratchpad utility. It does not have audio output. I find it useful as a standalone notetaker when I am conducting mediations as it lets me keep notes of the offers, counteroffers, and other information conveyed to me by the parties, and I don't have to lug a laptop between mediation rooms. The same goes for argument notes for court appearances.

Anyone have a recommendation. I have heard good things about the Focus, but I'd like one that doesn't have a qwerty keyboard if possible

Thanks!

Sincerely,
