Do it. It looks good ona resume. Also, it would be a good networking tool.

Subject: [Blindmath] Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society
Hello,
I continue to get the invitation to join Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, but I continue to ponder it until the deadline passes. They are allegedly the most prestigious honor society on my campus, but I just don't know if it's worth the money to join. Because of local chapter dues, a one-year membership is just short of 100 bucks, and a lifetime membership is $365. That's a lot of money, but I am not opposed to it if there is a true compelling reason to join. I plan to get a PhD and become a college professor in an applied math area (most likely economics). Do any of you have any input for me on this decision?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Justin
