Hi Neil,
I cannot "see" any post on MathPlayer 3 on your blog, the last post is the one you made on Jan 24th. Generally speaking I do check that blog every month or so for anything new.
Its probably too late to point out these issues, but I'm reasonably certain that you must have addressed them in the new release.
Still, for my own satisfaction, here are the major issues I hope that you have already looked at for MP3
:-)
1. A way to change/ modify specific terms like "super", "sub", and others.
As you may already know, in the rest of the world different terms are used to describe Mathematical positions and structures.
2. Easier way to make MathJax enabled websites work with screen readers + MathPlayer.
The instructions on MathJax.org for rendering MathML with MathPlayer is incorrect for screen reader users. I was considering posting more appropriate instructions on this list for the same, but I'm hoping that you could do something to address transitioning issues from MathJax rendering to MathPlayer rendering.
Regards

We are (and have been since the fall) working on new release of MathPlayer that will work with IE9. We've had to introduce some new technology to make MathPlayer work with IE and we worked with the IE team to come up with workarounds to the problems IE9 created. We hope to release the new version of MathPlayer near the end of April. Until then, I would advise against downloading IE9 if you use MathPlayer.
This new version of MathPlayer has several new features including the ability to generate different "styles" of speech, support for multiple languages, and enhanced compatibility with MathJax (mathjax.org). I have blogged about MathPlayer 3 at accessiblemath.dessci.com and will be talking about it more in the next few weeks.

I've been hesitant to install IE 9 because there were issues with MathPlayer with an earlier release of IE9 as documented here:

Has anything changed since then?
