[Blindmath] Creating graph and charts

Maureen,

 You can get a 10 x 10 geoboard with 4 quadrants from Cuisenaire and use rubber bands to graph the lines.  Just mark the origin with something on the tip so she can orient herself.  Much cheaper than what I have seen in VI catalogs and you might be able to find one at your local school supply store.  You will need to probably get the special rubber bands because they will be long enough to do lines.  If she is graping points use a small washer from the hardware store that she can drop over the point.  Cheap and easy :)

I have a middle school student who is learning graphs and charts. Here is  what she uses to create the graphs:

Raised line graph paper, draftsman tape, number stickers from APH.

It is tedious and seems archaic. Is there a better way?
