Hi Jacques,

You should get a slope of 6 using

((y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁))

((-2-(1/2))/((1/4)-(2/3)))= 6

((-5/2)/(-5/12)) = 6

I have two sets of points, they are (2 over 3, 1 over 2) and (1 over 4, -
2), I know how to find slope, but no matter what I do I cant get the same
slope the book gets. Can somebody help me?
