Hi,

hmm, sounds quite interesting. I wanted to deep a bit into R sooner or
later, so thanks as well!

Though, since the original question was about RMarkdown, I recommend
reading its book:

It's very informative and interesting, covers everything from explaining
reproducible research, through the philosophy and applications of
RMarkdown, to actually detailing the various options.


Compilation from console is covered as well, showing the various ways it
can be used to compile normal, but also parameterized documents.
