There are also, most likely, local groups on social media like twitter and
Facebook that you can search for. There may also be an American counsel of
the blind in Michigan. I've found that organizations like the nfb and a big
are pretty eager to support research.

I also follow blind ypitubers on their YouTube and twitter pages. They
regularly publish interesting content, have thousands of followers (many of
whom are likely also blind/low vision), and may be interested in helping
out by tweeting about your research if you network and ask nicely.

You can also network with disabled student services in local universities
and colleges.

Another method that has been successful fort research team is asking
participants if they can recommend anyone they know who is eligible.
Depending on their comfort level, they can give us their friend's contact
info so we contact them or we ask them to share our contact info with their
network.
