Hello,

I updated the GitHub version of BrailleR just now.

To see if the bug fix I used works, you will need to reinstall from the GitHub version please. Then retry issuing the WriteR() command.

I would appreciate knowing if your problem was resolved by this attempt. I think we can do that off list.

Cheers,
Jonathan

Subject: [BlindRUG] Why Can't I Use WriteR?

                Dear Dr. Godfrey,

I am writing this email to ask your help.
I attempted to use WriteR function after having Python 2.7 and its associated wxPython installed on my machine.
                I installed 64bit for both as I am running R on Window 8.1 64bit.

Unfortunately, the WriteR function does not work for some reason.
Would you mind advising me how to tackle this issue?

                The below are error messages:

Copies of the main wxPython script and help page documents have been copied

Your insight would be greatly appreciated.

                Thank you very much.

                Best wishes,

                JooYoung
