Are you suggesting then that preboarding should be forced on us? Again, not trying to  be argumentative, just asking for clarification, and offering discussion.

What about a parent who has an infant and a toddler in tow? Do you think that preboarding should be forced on them? They would likely hold people up as well.

My personal  stance is that I am not a child or an invalid, and I am not going to allow others to dictate to me as if I were.

I have observed blind individuals who refused assistance from the flight 
crew when boarding and they held everyone else up while fumbling around. 
This is a real issue that blind individuals should take into consideration. 
I have vision, however, I always allow a member of the flight crew to assist 
me in locating my seat quickly.  If you are a frequent business flier, then 
you know time is money!!
