Hi, All;
I wouldn't even try to get anything from a doctor. I'd contact the
Civil Rights Commission or an attorney. We weren't sent here to save the
world and the only educating this management need is education about the
law.
I've read all these posts and I'm a bit biased, I realized, because
advocacy is what I do, but I seem to hear more about education than about
advocacy. Perhaps ignorance is an excuse in life, but ignorance of the law
is NO excuse! Martin Luther King said maybe you can't legislate morality,
but you CAN legislate how to treat people. Stop the education and get an
attorney.
Sincerely,
Mary

Wonder if she can get a doctor to write how absurd the notion that
his/her permission would be required for her to have a key that every
other tenant on the premises is given, just because of blindness. If
the doctor is really good, they'll add that it's quite fortunate for
the apartment manager that the letter is from a doctor and not a
lawyer. *grin*

I suspect MY doctor would write such a letter, if asked to do so. In
fact, he'd be greatly amused to do it! Hers I'm not so sure about.
But do feel free to give this email to the doctor in question for
possible inspiration! *evil grin*
