[Blindtlk] Jumping on the 'Need cane Suggestion' Band Wagon!

Jewl,
 I have  heard of (and seen a couple) nfb  canes with  grips to them,
however they are of a newer type, and I   am not sure if they are
being sold  as of  yet ((I first heard they were in testing stage). I
would see what the independence market has for canes.
 I think the Iowa cane may be a good alternitive, as I know you can
actually get those.   I think  though that the "grip" is basically
just like the  nfb canes, but that     either the   handel is a little
thicker,  the shaft is  a little thinner, or both.
  I would suspect that in a chair, that you would use a shorter cane,
as you are probably going only so fast, and  anything too long would
make you use pencil grip  the majority of the time.
