"Can't" is a loaded work. Why not be honest with yourself and say "I'd
rather not"? Or perhaps "I don't do as well ..."?
Seems to me you're selling yourself rather short in all this.

Ok. How can I get an in home demonstration of a mac book pro? I'm a
hands on learner. I can't sit here and listen to pod casts of people talking
about a product. In order for me to decide if it's something worth
pursueing, I would need to play with it. I'm not going to go to Best Buy or
another computer store to play. I'd rather do it in the comfort of my home.

Well, first of all, A Mac mini is not a lap top. IF it's a lap top you
want, I'd go with the Mac book or Mac book pro. That will set you back a
bit. To find out more, go here.
www.apple.com.
The one I used is the fifteen inch Mac book Pro.
Sincerely,
The Constantly Barefooted Ray!!!
