[Blindtlk] Questions

I was never diagnosed with SAD, but when I lived in Cleveland for a few
winters, I swore I had it. The forecast in that part of the country during
the winter was like a broken record: "Cloudy with snow showers, highs in
the teens." It was tiring. Now I live in another cold wintry setting, but
at least the sun shines here. I have never used a sun lamp, but I find for
me it is important to just get out and walk, get out in the sunlight and
know that it will get stronger.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Questions

Does anyone experience Seasonal Affective Disorder during any part of the
year? If so, have you used a sunlamp, with what results? I was diagnosed
with it many years ago but have not experienced it again until this winter.
Would be interested to hear of any one's experience either on list or off
list.
In the same connection I read in the MONITOR in January about the Non 24
Hour Disorder and the the research that the Vanda Pharmaceuticalss are
doing. Would be interested if any one can shed light on this area. Thank
you in advance.

Cordially,

Mark Harris
