I trailed the wall from the cash register to the place where I needed to pick up my coffee. There was a little girl in my path, and I didn't realize it. Her mother got mad, and told her daughter to move. I want to avoid this from happening again. So, I am in need of some tips. Thank you in advance!

Let me start off by giving you some bad news. You can't stop it from
ever happening again. In fact, you will find that it happens often!
What you can do is try to memorize the layout of the store. Of course,
that would mean you'd need to go on a regular bases to keep it fresh in
your mind. You could also, gasp, ask someone to direct you. Just my
thoughts.
