Hello Lucy,
I know this might sound a bit basic But I've found that many folks leave out
this simple step in trouble shooting something like this.
Have you turned of the device, unplugged it and waited a minute or so and
then rebooted it?
If not, I'd give that a try. You'd be amazed how many issues that will fix.
If you have then, well done and here's hoping some one will have an answer
for you.
Warmly,
Heather

Subject: [Blindtlk] Question about Voice Guidance on Comcast's X1
operatingsystem

Hi all!

First, a huge thank you to those who were able to help with my
most recent question on giving my cat subcutaneous injections.
Your suggestions were very useful, and the injections have been
going well.

I'm writing today in the hope that one of you might be able to
help me regain access to the Voice Guidance and Voice Command
features of my X1 operating system, both of which seem to have
disappeared. I've tried turning Voice Guidance back on by
following the instructions given online (pressing the A key
twice, then right arrow, then OK), but this hasn't solved the
problem. I've also emailed Comcast's accessibility center but so
far have received only an automated response. Can anyone offer
suggestions or resources?

Thanks in advance!

Lucy
