Have you thought of switching to Android? You would have more phone choices
at varying prices, and can be assured of headphone jack.
I've switched to Android from iPhone in 2013 and haven't looked back. The
accessibility is great, and I like having choices and not being locked into
a certain system. There is also very good user support for the blind user.

Subject: [Blindtlk] Even If I have the latest iOS?
Hello Listers,
Can anybody tell me why it is better to get no later than an iPhone 5
or 5S? Everybody I talk to recommends to not go with a 4; however,
they can still be bought. Why is this? I already know I *DO* want a
phone jack and I can't believe no one is objecting to the fact the 7
*does* not have one. I do hope you all will be honest with me.

compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving and
tolerant of the weak and strong. Because someday in your life you will
have been all of these.
