[BlindTlk] rude delta staff

And there are certainly times when one wonders how much progress we really
have made, I mean, I never would have thought back in 1975, when I first
joined the NFB in Connecticut that over 40 years later we would still be
dealing with this subminimum wage nonsense, but we are, even though the
dynamics have changed. What attending national conventions does do is
encourage us to continue, and recognize that if it were not for the NFB and
the large amount of work that has been done over the years, things would
likely be far worse than they actually are. I think the fact is that
educating will be a lifetime process for us, I don't see that changing any
time soon.

I have never had this happen to me but I agree that your “help” was
inconsiderate. I have had lots of these type trying to “help”” me on buses
or across streets I didn’t need. You should not nlame the NFB. We are made
up of fallible individuals just as rest of the population. Sadly this stuff
still happens. Our march is different than 75 years or so but we cannot
expected problems like these to disapear. We need to be grateful they are
less common and do they best to handle it well when it happens. I feel your
frustration Bryan. Educating takes a lot out of your some days!
