[blparent] Whining!

Hi,
I threw many tantrums when I was a child. The more people saw it, the more
sympathy I got. My parents just ignored me and sometimes put me in my room.
I stopped it when I did not get what I wanted. Later on, I learned to be
more sneaky. In the store, I put my hand on the counter and I always got
something. My boyfriend now says it is my cute smile getting me what I
want. I hope I eventually find a job and the cute smile is not enough to
convince an employer.

Marianne

They, the specialists on child rearing, say you're suppose to ignore them.
but, I'm like you, I used to pull Gabriella to her feet and told her to
behave. My husband would lift her up off the floor and take her directly to

her room and let her scream all she wanted there. V
