[blparent] wow kindergarten has changed!

I thought that at first, but what the kids did after lunch is have a quiet 
reading time.  the kids could sit quietly and listen or put their heads down 
on their desks.  what they could not do is jump or play in the room.  They 
only did this for the semester before the holidays.  after they came back 
from winter break they were getting ready for first grade and they still did 
reading, but it was more like active listening and when the teacher asked 
them a question about the story, they were expected to answer. V
