Also if you live in the west, the Utah State Library for the blind  is where
we used to get them.   But I found that she wanted to read and read them, so
buying them was a better choice for us. V

Ronda,

Your local library for the blind will have twin vision books that you could 
borrow.  The same NLS library that sends talking books and such.  This may 
be a good solution for you if you're not sure whether Deven will want to 
read the books.   I can understand not wanting to spend money on stuff that 
he may not read.  It's unfortunate that
Braille books cost so much more than regular print ones.  Anyway, you could 
call up your local library and ask what they have.  They may not have 
anything Deven will be interested in, but you could at least call and check 
out what they have.
