[blparent] Ultrasound and Heartbeat

Hi,

I think the placenta starts to degrade at 42 weeks jestation which is why 
they only let you go ten days or so past your due date before inducing you. 
There are some recent studies that show that that's not true, but I read 
them in passing so I don't know how reputable they are, and I don't even 
remember where I read them.  I am ridiculously tired lately!  Sorry I can't 
be of more help than that.
