Hmm, this post just showed the hole problem.  First I find it sickening that you would feel that smacking a little kid in the face is appropriate discipline.  Also can’t you talk to your kid with out extra people it sounds like a bunch of adults ganging up on a kid just because their bigger.  There is a difference between the punishment fits the crime and just being an ass.

I understand that your frustrated but the kid's doctor isn’t going to care when they want to know why your kid has a dislocated jaw.  Maybe you and your Boyfriend and the child’s Father and step Mother should look in to parenting classes.  I am floored that you are baffled as to why your Daughter is being disrespectful.  The answer is simple her models of respect are sort of suckish.

Good luck with all that, Blindness isn’t the issue.
