Hi,

If your cps is anything like ours, we do have call screeners who make the
decision whether it's a nosey call or a real issue that needs to be handled.
I found out last ear through a friend who works at cps that our upstairs
neighbour had called them on us because she said we always locked my son in
the back room of our house all the time to quote her, 24-7. Um, that's his
bedroom. lol He likes to be in there and I'm not going to stop him.
Anyway, the neighbour called because I had called cps about a month before
because her little boy who could barely walk had fallen down about 14 steep
wooden stairs for the second time in 24 hours because there was no gate and
no supervision. Also, she told me after water came pouring down in to our
house that she was sorry, but she'd left her 2 year old in the bath while
she went upstairs to get something and he'd turned on the water and she
didn't know until she came back down. I guess they came to investigate her
because I heard them screaming about it on our front porch. I also know
that nothing got done, but at least the call got logged. We didn't know
about her call until my friend asked us if we knew she'd reported us.

Tammy
