Hi, Rhonda. My stepson just turned fourteen last week. He has many of the
same issues with destroying property that Devan seems to have. We've worked
some on reading, but not too much, because if Stephen is interested in the
material, he's a great reader. If he isn't interested, forget about it.
Anyway, if there are things you don't feel comfortable discussing on the
list, feel free to write to me at jopinto at msn.com. I'm still feeling my way
on this one--Stephen lives with his mom most of the time, but he comes here
on a lot of weekends and school breaks. I also have a toddler of my own who
lives here all the time.
Anyway, good luck with a big challenge, and please don't hesitate to ask
questions, either on the list or to me privately. This group is great at
pooling their knowledge and coming up with solutions!
Jo Elizabeth
