We all do it. Especially us new mom's. New mom's is a phrase that fits us
even when our children are 4 years old or 24 years old. We're just
beginners at all ages. V

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. My son just turned four,
and he is sighted. I use a cane, so I am easy to find. I tell him to
look for me, but I just wasn't sure if I was relying on his sight too
much. However, it makes sense to do things that way in such a
setting, and I am glad to hear that other parents do the same thing.
Sometimes I tend to over analyze things when it comes to doing things
in a crowd full of sighted people, and I put so much pressure on
myself to be a "super" blind parent. I know that I have to work on
that within myself. Ellen Elizabeth
