That's so sad.  Beyond the pure insanity of not letting your child play with 
someone just because she's blind, and the way it made you feel, what that 
man was teaching his little girl is that you don't want to interact with 
people who are different from you.  That's not what we need in this world. 
Chalk it up to "you can't fix stupid" and move on.
