[blparent] Toddler in crowds

Gab refuses to talk to people we just meet in a store or at a restaurant.
We will tell her, Gab you've seen this person before, but if she doesn't
remember we could persuade her all we want and she won't talk. It is hard
at the beginning of a school year, she seems shy or uncooperative until she
gets to know her teacher. Eeek, it takes all kinds. v

Thing is, you'll never meet or establish any kind of meaningful
relationship if you aren't friendly. Might it be more logical to teach
our kids how to give information and access appropriate to the
situation? Everybody you meet is a stranger until you get to know him or
her. And, lots of strangers have access to very personal information.
Anybody who uses a credit card or been to a hospital knows this.

Sounds like you have a very adorable and very busy little boy. Lol. I
worry about angelica being friendly with people she doesn't know, too.
And
she's five.
