[blparent] getting food off the spoon

Maybe the cereal is too thick. Usually my trouble is that it drips off of
the spoon before it gets to Owen's mouth, but as I thicken food/cereal it
sticks on easier. I'm surprised if he does not like it, that it doesn't get
pushed out onto his chin. If he is still just learning to eat cereal, maybe
try adding more milk or water to it or try smaller bites.

Subject: [blparent] getting food off the spoon

Hi all. As I've mentioned, Michael has started on the rice cereal since
Friday. When I feed him in the high chair, I can find his mouth just fine
but after I put the spoon in and pull it out, the cereal hasn't come off the
spoon yet. Any thoughts of how to make this better? I know he's just
starting out so we're bound to run into a few road blocks. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Leslie
