I used to put the passenger pillows close to the edges where I did not want
my child to roll. They worked just fine as after a bit, dad moved into that
spot.

Subject: [blparent] cosleeping while traveling

Hello list,

I will be traveling to Idaho and Oregon over Christmas and the new year and
would love to hear from those of you who have coslept with a toddler while
traveling. At one of the homes I'll be staying in we'll have the mattress
on the floor so I'm not concerned about that but at the other home we'll be
in a regular bed. I know that they have travel bed rails, but do you guys
know if they have any type of contraption to hook to baby and mom so that
baby can't role too far from mom in the night. I know that Dawson and I
will go to bed before my husband so there will be a few hours where I'm on
one end of the bed and Dawson's in the middle. He'll probably be just fine
since baby's seldom role too far from mom and I'm a light sleeper, but
sometimes there's great tricks out there or products that could be a life
saver during times like this. Love to hear what those of you who've
traveled with your cosleeping toddlers have done.

Thanks and Merry Christmas early to all.

Erin
