[blparent] presents?

Oh thank goodness, my kids aren't allowed to have food in their rooms or who
knows what it would smell like in there ... might prefer the dirty socks
smell.

I'm a neat freak, too, but I've had to let a lot of that go with kids.
Sarah has a big toy box and some buckets, and things get tossed in there.
Once in a while I sort everything out and make sure there's not a lot
missing, but in between things just get tossed in the buckets. I would draw
the line at a room that smelled like dirty socks. For me, it was food
getting left upstairs--and finding a piece of pizza under the bed that
looked like it had been there for a hundred years--so now there's no food
upstairs, ever, and no drinks except water.
