[blparent] Question of Interest

When my niece was little, a baby, she fell out of her crib and bounced off
her head. She didn't even cry, just rubbed her head and continued on. So
the whole family started called her Tuffy. Well, that stuck with her for
many years until I called her that in front of her 12 year old friend.
Never again did I call her that.
I do have a friend in boston that still calls her that, but not in front of
anyone but my niece. V

When mark was a baby, he was the wee one, and then he became pootsa and then
just toots and epentually we had to remember to call him mark in front of
his friends. I think my husband said pootsa is nerwegian for something but i
don't remember what.
