[blparent] Bells; Yea or Ney?

Hi,

I found that my kids didn’t need bells, they made enough noise without them. I did try bells with Colyn, my first son, but he soon found ways to quiet them and make them just a pointless adition. If your kids learn to undress themselves early as my other son has, bells won’t help find them either. I know that this is a personal preference though, so the best advice I can give you is to try them if you think they will help you, even just to give you the sense that you know where your son is. You might find them to be very helpful. Like with most parenting decisions, you do whatever works for you and your family.

Hello Blind Parents,

This list is great! I love being able to voice any concern I have regarding
parenthood as a blind person and actually get quality feedback.

Harrison is crawling as of this week and I've asked many folks about bells.
I'm not sure I need them but I want to hear it from the pros. To bell or not
to bell, that is the question.
