Please do not be so judgmental of others.  Each of us is different, 
does things differently, and has to decide for herself or himself 
what works and is appropriate!  I am also not aware of any evidence 
of physical or mental damage that has resulted from using a piece of 
cloth or leather for someone to keep in contact with their child.
