I think about this sort of thing because I'm a geek. How we teach humans,
and how we teach machines have a lot of things in common.

You guys are making some interesting points that I never considered before.
I don't know if it's because I've been blind since birth and don't think
about it, or if it's just the way my mind works, but I never think about how
I handle something; I just do it instinctively. I also never thought about
developing sound and smell cues, probably because I just did it as I got
older and never really thought about the process. This thread really
intrigues me.
